Moulded frame with 25mm thick jamb -

The reliable standard frame for rebated door leaves in apartments and commercial/public places.

The architraves produced by a folding procedure are 60mm wide and mitre-cut. The rebated architraves on the hinged side are glued to the jamb, the architrave on the other side can be adjusted by up to 15 mm. The cushioning profile is inlaid, striking plate and hinge recesses are mounted.

The frames can be produced for wall thicknesses from 4 cm (without adjustment area) up to more than 100 cm.

If desired, 80mm wide architraves can also be produced for different surfaces.

For double rebated doors an additional face plate can be glued on as a second door stop.

Doorframes are only seldom the focus of attention. Most of them are constructed and installed so as to “disappear” between door and wall. They can, however, become a stylish accessory designed to make a harmonious transition from the door to the wall. HUGA has optimised this potential at both a highly technical and a visual level – with the Elipse moulded doorframe.

Along with the reliable HUGA exclusive moulded frame, HUGA is now treading new, design-orientated paths with its new Elipse doorframe. What is really special about this frame is its "convex surface" which is as ingenious as it is simple – the frame is widened from 60 mm to 70 mm. Thus it is possible to create really balanced lines both around the whole frame and above all between door, frame and wall. Instead of simply surrounding the door, the new HUGA Elipse doorframe acts as an aesthetic intermediary.

It goes without saying that all functional features and door dimensions are retained. As always with HUGA, design is a means to an end, and not an end in itself. The proportions of the Elipse doorframe underpin the high-quality, individualistic character of HUGA products down to the last detail. HUGA’s Elipse doorframes are available in all DURAT-variations and in maple, beech, oak and cherry-wood timber veneers.

Provile is manufactured from a homogenous panel, covered in a special coating. The waves are moulded, coated and smoothly painted using HUGA’s new process. In this way the entire Provile surface has the unique look of HUGA white paint finish. Its functional characteristics have consistently been awarded top marks in testing.
