What should my door-lock actually do?

Locks serve to catch and bolt revolving doors into frames.

The so-called latch keeps the door closed, the bolt prevents unauthorised entry.

The following different locking systems are available:

BB   - single tumbler lock

PZ   - lock cylinder

BAD  - bathroom, toilet

HUGA locks of course satisfy the high German DIN quality standards. Because your security is particularly important to us.

DIN 18251 - locks for normal doors

DIN 18250 - locks for smoke-stop and fire-stop doors.

These locks are subject to special registration and constant monitoring. You can immediately see this by the Ü symbol (conformity mark).
