Step by step 1956-59

1956

02.01.1956 - Start of HUGA's successful history

Things aren't always difficult at the beginning - as the first years of HUGA prove. Hubert Gaisendrees and his wife Rosalinde built up HUGA with personal commitment, pioneering spirit and a clear vision. From the beginning, both placed a great deal of importance in brand quality and loyalty to their location. Today, 50 years later the four plants, HUGA plants I-IV, are still within view of Osnabrücker Landstrasse. Jobs are created locally: Quality made in Germany - made by HUGA.

1960-68

A very successful start - new products, steady growth

HUGA grows. New product ideas require more suace and additional employees. Hubert Gaisendrees realised at a very early stage that only efficient sales can secure long-term growth. As HUGA produces top brand quality, cooperation with the timber trade was obvious. This cooperation, despite experiencing many changes, is still the decisive sales and distribution to this day and this will continue to be so in the future too.

Form follows function 1970-78

The decade of trendsetting HUGA doorframes

Those who have a nose for what they do see innovations ealier than the rest. HUGA uses new production methods to manufacture contemporary products. And is a therefore decisive step faster than the rest of the market. In the 1970s it was the new type of doorframes, which are still produced today. They were followed by new surfaces and door elements with special functions. This process needs technical knowledge and the will to continously improve the finer details. When it comes to innovations, HUGA sets the pace. The current product developments are a proof for the high quality level that HUGA is setting for their own products.

1972
