Visual impairment

Large areas of glass surface must be unbreakable and show high-contrast marks. In order to make hints early noticeable and clear, guigelines are to be fixed in an efficacious way. Light and dark contrasts, especially light on a dark underground will help visually handicapped people.

Very often large mirrors or walls made of glass can be a danger to people with an eye disease, because they cannot early enough be recognized as a closure of the room. Furthermore huge glass surfaces can be divided by bar frames or there may be contrasty structures on the surfaces, e.g. stripes or spots.
